The answer is simple. Think of your head as the most important
part of your body. Always ride with a full size helmet because
half size helmets are dangerous. The half size helmet lhas no
face shield so it leaves
your face with no protection. The only protection is to the back
of your head. If you fall on your chin it will brake.
Helmet standards
When testing for Helmet standards they are tested for things
that can't be judged in a store: impact performance and strap strength. The US Consumer Product
Safety Commission's bike helmet standard is a law now for every
helmet made after 1999. CPSC is the benchmark standard. ASTM
and Snell B-90 are similar to it, and Snell B-95 is a little

supremo says a cycle helmet saved her life when she had an
accident.
Liberal Democrat councellor for Cabot, was cycling through
Bishopston yesterday when her bike skidded on ice and she
hit her head on the road surface. She was badly bruised and
shaken, but believes her bright yellow cycle helmet saved
her from serious injury. The council's executive member for
transport is now advising other cyclists to follow her
example and wear helmets too.
